"ZZ PANT" is TOPS!
Native to east Africa and Zanzibar, the ZZ Plant was the Florida Grower's 'Plant of the Year' in 2002, and it has garnered attention from interior plantscapers across the United States! It's a unique member of the Ariod family, which includes Philodendron, Spathephyllum (Peace Lily), Aglaonema (Chinese Evergreen), and yet does not resemble any of them! ZZs are a slowing growing plant which will adapt to any light condition, and can reach a height of three feet.
It's fleshy, thick waxy leaves and large tubers at the plant base well serve this drought resistant plant- your can let the soil dry out between watering and only feed bimonthly ( when the soil is still slightly moist), and ZZs are virtually pest free!
